Life is hard.
Life can be beautiful at times but it remains full of challenges. I have provided counseling since 2006. Overall, I have worked with people with mental health, substance abuse, and other challenges for the past 25 years. During that time my family has battled mental illness, grieved over loved ones lost to cancer, MS, addiction and suicide. At the same time we have faced our own chronic health challenges. We’ve endured through our faith, good friends, and professional support.
Just as my family has been comforted, strengthened and guided, I hope to bring the same to others. I do my best to combine what I’ve learned over the years through my life experiences and my formal training. My goal is to help those who seek out help find it any way we can. We may laugh or we may cry but we do it together. My spiritual mentor used to say, ‘No one cares what you have to say until they know that you care.’ I want each person to know that they are cared for and I’ve done my best to help.
With that said, I aim to provide quality, compassionate counseling to individuals, couples and families in the Farmington River Valley.
I provide counseling via Telehealth covering all of Connecticut. I also conduct ‘Walk and Talk’ sessions and some in-office sessions at my home in New Hartford.
I am In-Network with all Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and Husky Plans.
For Self-Pay Clients, I charge $175 for the initial 90 minute intake session. I then $125 for 60 minute individual counseling sessions.
Clients see me for various reasons. These include Depression and Mood Disorders, Relationship difficulties, Grief and Loss, Anxiety, ADHD, Addictions, Trauma, and Coping with Chronic Illness.
Whatever the challenge may be, I encourage you to reach out and see if I might be a good fit for you. If not, I’ll try to help you find someone who is a good match!
